InMobi's chief revenue officer quits, to set up non-profit organisation
BENGALURU: Atul Satija, chief revenue officer of mobile ad network InMobi has resigned to set up a non-profit focused on alleviating poverty in a sustainable manner. However he will continue to work with InMobi in an advisory capacity in Bengaluru. "In parallel to starting his own non-profit, he will continue to work with us as InMobi’s Chief Business Advisor - helping set the direction for InMobi," said Naveen Tewari, chief executive of InMobi.

Satija, who earlier worked at Google, was part of InMobi's global eight-member team which looked after the mobile advertising network's global revenue and operations. He launched the Asia-Pacific operations for the company and helped the company turn cash positive earlier this year according to a company spokesperson.

Abhay Singhal, co-founder, InMobi has taken over as the Chief Revenue Officer. Singhal is also the Vice President - HR at InMobi. The company said it is currently looking for candidates to head its HR and people operations.

"I have always wanted to make a difference in the social sector. While my professional journey has been extremely rewarding, I feel the time is perfect for me to take the plunge into my non-profit," said Satija.
