Infosys adjudged best corporate mind, IIM-B stands second

BANGALORE: Infosys has been adjudged best corporate mind after it won Mind Trigger, an annual corporate intellectual Olympics organized by Technology Alumni Association (TAA, Bangalore chapter ) of IIT Kharagpur. IIM Bangalore stood second.

Though Infosys managed to win only one of the six competitions (Quizwhiz), it defeated 8 corporate teams to bag the title. The IIM-B team, consisting of young students, emerged winners in potpourri and strategizing competitions. Yahoo, SAP, Deutsche Bank, 2AdPro, Capillary Technologies, Sungard and Affine Analytics were the other corporate houses who participated in the sixhour marathon.

The team from Infosys received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a trophy from Utkal Mohanty , the president of TAA. Prakash Bagri, chairperson of Mind Trigger, who presided over the Saturday night event, said, "Winning this contest is a matter of pride for corporate houses as it helps attract new talent."
