Industrial workers to get 2,000 low cost flats

As a new year gift, Delhi Government will allot around 2,000 low cost flats to industrial workers of the city next month.

NEW DELHI: As a new year gift, Delhi Government will allot around 2,000 low cost flats to industrial workers of the city next month.

Industries Minister Ramakant Goswami today directed DSIIDC to issue allotment letters in respect of 1,991 flats to eligible applicants from among the industrial workers of the city.

The direction was issued at a meeting called to review implementation of Rajiv Gandhi Housing Scheme for industrial workers.

Officials said government had received over 11,000 applications from the workers for getting houses under the scheme.
