Hexaware names Vivek Jetley as its new CEO amid leadership changes and a cautious 2026 growth outlook for India’s IT sector.

Indian ​IT services firm Hexaware said on ​Wednesday that Vivek Jetley, a senior executive at Nasdaq-listed EXL, would take over as ‌its CEO, effective ⁠October ⁠28.

The company said Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan had ​resigned as CEO to pursue personal interests and ​will be relieved of his duties next month. He held the post ​for over a decade ⁠and also oversaw ‌Hexaware's listing on ​the ​bourses last year.

The resignation comes ⁠as Indian IT services firms face ​the double whammy of AI-related disruption ​and macro overhang that is forcing clients to tweak tech spends.

Hexaware, the country's 10th-largest IT firm by revenue, cut its calendar-year 2026 ‌annual forecast to 6% to 7% from a prior view ​of at ​least ⁠7.6% after its June quarter results.
