CHENNAI: Indians are born entrepreneurs and India's genetic code has entrepreneurship embeded in it, R Seshasayee, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland said here on Friday.

Delivering the convocation address at the 28th Annual Convocation of Anna University, he said excellence, which was possible through a mental attitude combined with the power of knowledge and power of enterprise could create a vibrant India

"With a positive attitude, competitiveness anchored on entrepreneurship and knowledge, you have the tools to architect a vibrant India," he said.

"Recognising the research potential of the university ISRO has sanctioned the micro satellite project for our university. The project 'Anusat' is progressing at Madras Institute of Technology at a proposed cost of Rs 5.44 crore,' D Viswanathan, Vice-Chancellor, Anna University said.

He also said the university has proposed to establish a state-of-the-art building at the proposed ICT Park inside the campus.
