IMC 2017: MoU signed between BSNL and ZTE
NEW DELHI:Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chinese gear maker ZTE at IMC on September 27. Both the parties will work together and prove key technologies like Pre5G and 5G wireless systemsn to make a virtual network architecture of a 5G ecossystem for research and commercialization in India.

4G/5G technologies and smartphone usage in India is developing quickly towards the building of an IoT and artificial intellegence (AI) centric ecosystem.

Department of Telecom (DoT) and operators believe that 5G will push the digital transformation of E-governance, education, finance, smart city and other many other industries.


"ZTE is willing to closely collaborate with the industry for better 5G experience," Fan Xiaobing from ZTE said.
