ILI programme lists MPs & CEOs
UBS chairperson Manisha Girotra and WNS Knowledge Services CEO Amit Bhatia are among the 24 fellows of the first India Leadership Initiative (ILI) programme.
ILI enables leading personalities from various walks of life to interact with each other and appreciate diverse viewpoints.
Launched on Tuesday by Planning Commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia, ILI is a partnership between the Aspen Institute USA, Aspen Institute India and Goldman Sachs.
Goldman Sachs India LLC chief executive officer L Brooks Entwistle said that the Fellows get to know each other over different issues as a group. The Indian programme will start in Goa and there will be sessions in both India and the US.
The group will go through rigorous sessions of readings and discussions. Moderators from the Aspen Institute US will bring out the group’s challenges, thoughts and feelings.
Other members of the programme are UNDP’s Sumeeta Banerji, politician Karti Chidambaram, Hyderabad municipal commissioner Sanjay Jaju, Archer & Angel partner Sanjay Chhabra, Haritas Health Services MD Sudha Iyer, Temasek Holdings Advisors MD Manish Kejriwal and Reliance Industries ED Hital Meswani.
