Godrej Industries group signs pact to invest Rs 200 billion in Haryana
The MoU was signed in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Godrej Industries Group has invested approximately Rs 12,000 crore in Haryana to date and employs around 9,000 people across its businesses in the state, the company said in a media release on Monday.

Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) will be a key driver of the group's investment plans. Having invested approximately Rs 11,000 crore in Haryana to date, GPL plans to invest a further Rs 16,000 crore by FY28, taking its total investment in the state to around Rs 27,000 crore. The company currently has 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat and Kurukshetra, with its future projects expected to create more than 11,000 jobs.
Godrej Ventures, the group's real estate private equity business, has invested around Rs 1,000 crore in Haryana and plans to invest a further Rs 3,500 crore in Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram. These investments are expected to generate more than 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The depth of its economy, the pace of urbanisation and the emergence of Gurugram as a major commercial and employment hub create opportunities across several of our businesses."
He added, "We're pleased to formalise this next phase of investment through our MoU with the Government of Haryana and look forward to working closely with the state to bring these plans to life."

This MoU reaffirms our confidence in Haryana as a long-term investment destination, with opportunities spanning residential and commercial development to the wider infrastructure and services ecosystem."
The group's other businesses also have an established presence in Haryana. Godrej Capital operates five branches in the state and has facilitated approximately Rs 550 crore in bookings through its financing business. Godrej Consumer Products has a network of 42 direct distributors and more than 250 rural stockists across the state.

Godrej Industries Group has also contributed to community and infrastructure initiatives in Haryana, spending approximately Rs 1 crore annually on CSR initiatives and more than Rs 10 crore on infrastructure-level initiatives in the state. Its work includes strengthening support systems for construction workers, providing weather-related insurance, and supporting the restoration and beautification of public spaces in Karnal and Kurukshetra.
The group said it will continue to work with the Government of Haryana to support the state's development priorities and enable further investments across its businesses.
Godrej Industries Group posted revenues of $7.2 billion in FY26 and had a market capitalisation of $19 billion as of March 31, 2026. It operates across FMCG, real estate, financial services, agriculture and chemicals.
