Fortuna PR becomes fifth company to file insolvency plea against RCom
MUMBAI: Fortuna Public Relations became the fifth company to file an insolvency petition against Reliance Communications (RCom) to recover dues worth Rs 43 lakh. The public relations company has filed the petition in the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal, and the hearing is scheduled for December 19.

Many companies have filed insolvency petitions against the Anil Ambani-owned company after its plans to merge with Aircel went off course two months ago. Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson is fighting RCom to recover dues worth Rs 1,150 crore.

Manipal Technologies, meanwhile, has approached the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal to recover Rs 2.74 crore.
