Flipspaces delivers Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited’s new office spanning 1 lakh sq.ft in record time

Flipspaces, a renowned leader in innovative workspace design, has recently delivered a 1lac sq. ft office for Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (BFIL), a subsidiary of IndusInd Bank Ltd. in Hyderabad. The remarkable transformation included an end-to-end scope of space designing, product and material supply, and project execution services. Nestled in one of the prime commercial hubs of Hyderabad - Raheja Commerzone, Raidurg, this office spans across multiple floors and is the new headquarters for the leading microfinance giant. The new office speaks volumes about the well-researched designs, customised products and workmanship quality.

While speaking to the design team at Flipspaces, we uncovered the secret sauce behind the awe-inspiring designs that we see. The journey started with an immersive engagement with the BFIL team, where Flipspaces conducted extensive focus group discussions to grasp the diverse aspirations across multiple stakeholders. This research-driven approach served as the cornerstone for coming up with the winning formula of a vibrant, biophilic, and rural-themed design. These three themes are beautifully complimented in every nook of the office across meeting rooms, reception, workstation bays and breakouts.

The moment you enter the office you will be welcomed by rural-themed murals representing various facets of rural India, empowerment of which is the vision of the BFIL brand. The meeting rooms depict art and culture of various states where BFIL is present, through interesting wall graphics and artefacts. Biophilia is a common thread in high-density zones such as workstation areas, where the natural greens give a soothing effect to the eyes. Across the office, we see colour-blocking at its best through vibrant hues to break the monotony.


Flipspaces’s proprietary virtual reality technology proved to be the differentiator in the entire design process. Right from creating quick 3D renders to selecting material finishes and products from the integrated supply chain platform, to creating the virtual walkthroughs of the designs, this technology aided before-time delivery and a zero error process.

Post design, the project execution process was an equally interesting tale. The execution strategy adopted by Flipspaces was quite disruptive and the first of its kind for the industry, marked by the creation of on-site mock-ups that epitomised the company's commitment to surpassing expectations and delivering unparalleled quality. Leveraging its proprietary VR technology, Flipspaces facilitated seamless coordination between design, execution and real-time remote project monitoring, resulting in efficient project delivery and minimal disruptions. Furthermore, Flipspaces' templated product repository played a pivotal role in simplifying the procurement process, offering a comprehensive catalogue of products and materials integrated with its technology stack. This streamlined decision-making and enhanced project agility, contributed to the overall success of the project.
