Ex-Tesla India director Prashanth R Menon joins Venttup as strategic advisor

Manufacturing-as-a-Service startup Venttup has appointed former Tesla India director Prashanth R. Menon as strategic advisor.

Menon has over two decades of experience across strategy, operations and business transformation. At Tesla, he led the company’s India entry strategy and oversaw the establishment of its operations across multiple verticals. He also served as chairman of the board for Tesla India.

Prior to his India role, Menon was director–advisory at Tesla US, where he led teams working on revenue enhancement, productivity improvement and cost optimisation. Earlier, he worked with EY, advising CXOs on corporate strategy, M&A, operational integration, supply chain management and working capital optimisation.

In his new role, Menon will work with the founders and leadership team on strategy, expansion and operational aspects.
