Ex-NSE MD Chitra Ramkrishna sent to 7-day CBI custody

The CBI had grilled Ramkrishna for three days in February and carried out searches at her residence on 24th and 25th of that month, officials said, adding that she was not giving proper responses.

The CBI arrested Ramkrishna after her anticipatory bail application was dismissed on Saturday.

The CBI had grilled her for three days in February and carried out searches at her residence on 24th and 25th of that month, officials said, adding that she was not giving proper responses.


The special CBI Court also extended the custody of former Group Operating Officer of National Stock Exchange, Anand Subramanian in the NSE Scam Case till March 9.

The CBI is trying to corroborate the evidences collected by them with the questioning of Subramanian.

The agency is probing the matter since May 2018 but they haven't found any concrete evidence to identify the mysterious Himalayan "yogi" with whom classified information was shared by Ramkrishna.
