Essencore partners Syrma SGS to expand local manufacturing in India

Hong Kong-headquartered memory and storage solutions company Essencore has partnered with Haryana-based Syrma SGS Technology Ltd to strengthen its local manufacturing capabilities and expand its presence in India.

The partnership is part of Essencore’s India expansion strategy, which includes Make-in-India initiatives and collaborations with local manufacturers. The company announced the partnership at its first Essencore India Conclave, according to its press release.

Essencore also introduced its consumer brand KLEVV in India. The brand offers high-performance memory and storage products aimed at gaming, eSports, content creation and high-performance computing, the press release added.


“India is a core strategic market for us. We are strengthening our ties with local partners and demonstrating our long-term commitment through Make-in-India initiatives, strategic partnerships and the introduction of the KLEVV brand,” said CK Kim, vice president at Essencore.

Sandeep Tandon, executive chairman, Syrma SGS Technology, said the partnership would allow the companies to leverage India’s growing electronics and technology ecosystem and Syrma SGS’s manufacturing capabilities.

Nitin Malhotra, India country manager, Essencore, outlined the company’s India go-to-market strategy, focusing on products and solutions tailored to local requirements.

Essencore said it plans to deepen engagement with Indian partners, expand its local presence and support the country’s growing electronics manufacturing and high-performance computing ecosystem.
