Essar Global appoints executive VP

Essar Global on Monday announced the appointment of Alain Davezac as its Executive Vice President of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions.

NEW DELHI: Essar Global on Monday announced the appointment of Alain Davezac as its Executive Vice President of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions.

"Alain will be responsible for the company's growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, alliances and business development opportunities," a company release said here.

Davezac has over 32 years of experience in steel industry and has been involved in international business development, network and intercultural negotiations, it added.
