DSP Merrill Lynch appoints Sen Gupta as Chief Economist
Investment banking and broking firm DSP Merrill Lynch today appointed Indranil Sen Gupta as Chief Economist.

NEW DELHI: Investment banking and broking firm DSP Merrill Lynch today appointed Indranil Sen Gupta as Chief Economist.
Prior to his new appointment, Sen Gupta was Chief Economist at Kotak Securities, DSP Merrill Lynch said in a release.
Sen Gupta will be responsible for analysing economic trends and formulating Merrill Lynch's Indian economics, interest rate and macro economic outlooks for its traditional equity and fixed income clients, macro hedge funds and business partners, it said.
