Delhi High Court enforces restriction on unauthorized use of WinZO trademarks

The Court told internet service providers and others to remove anything that uses the WinZO trademark or a similar version.
Legal action has been taken against websites that use the WinZO trademark or a similar mark in their domain names, have .apk extensions, or operate on social media platforms, the gaming platform said.
Apart from the comprehensive dynamic injunction, the Court has given specific orders to Domain Name Registrars (DNRs) to reveal registrant information. Internet Service Providers (ISPs), as well as prominent online platforms like Meta and Google, and regulatory bodies such as MeitY and DOT, have been instructed to prevent access to these websites and other digital channels that could mislead internet users.
