Deepinder Goyal reveals new Temple, which is much smaller than the previous version. Check latest update on Temple pre-orders

Zomato and Eternal founder Deepinder Goyal revealed his experimental wearable Temple which is now less than half the size of the version he had previously depicted, describing it as the smallest wearable on the market by volume and the “most powerful” yet. He further announced that customers can soon pre-order the high-tech product for a limited launch edition.

“Temple is now less than half the size of what you've seen so far,” Goyal said in a LinkedIn post. “Volumetrically, Temple is now the smallest wearable on the market, and the most^10 powerful.”

Goyal said the company will soon begin taking pre-orders for a limited launch edition of Temple, with shipments expected before the end of 2026. He asked interested users to join Temple's mailing list for updates.

According to an ET report by Pranav Mukul, the Deepinder Goyal-founded wearable startup Temple is expected to price its debut health wearable at Rs 75,000-80,000, targeting premium consumers, even as it gears up for its next funding round at a $500-million valuation.

The tech-savyy founder has not revealed the inaugral price of the wearable gadget yet.

The startup has also launched a partial employee stock option (Esop) buyback at a $375 million valuation, according to people familiar with the matter and internal documents accessed exclusively by ET.

Under Temple, Goyal has already raised $54 million in February at a $190 million valuation from Peak XV Partners, Steadview Capital, Dharana Capital, Info Edge Ventures and more than 80 individual investors.

From a mysterious head gadget to Temple

Temple became a buzz on the internet when Goyal sparked massive online curiosity by wearing a mysterious, metallic clip-like gadget on his head during his appearance on Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out podcast in early 2026.

The device, called Temple, is an health wearable designed to track real-time cerebral blood flow and neurological markers.

The device has since emerged as one of Goyal's major technology projects beyond Zomato, as he explores wearable technology focused on brain and health-related data.
