Credit Suisse announces 3 appointments for India operations

MUMBAI: Global banking major, Credit Suisse, on Monday announced three major appointments for its India investment banking operations.

Sughosh Moharikar and Samita Shah have joined as Managing Directors of its investment banking department while Ashim Ahuja will join as a Director of the team, the bank said in a press release issued here today.

Moharikar, who will be responsible for mergers and acquisitions advisory activities in India, will play a key role in originating and executing India-related M&A transactions, the bank said.

Samita Shah will focus on emerging large-cap client coverage, facilitating the delivery of the full capabilities of Credit Suisse to clients in India, it said.

Head-quartered in Zurich, Credit Suisse has operations in 50 countries and has a staff-strength of over 49,000.
