Corporate contributions for Tamil Nadu flood relief continue pouring in
Corporate contributions for flood relief and rehabilitation efforts of the government continued to pour in, with PSU and private firms giving Rs 16.35 crore today.

Representatives from various corporate houses presented their contributions to Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, even as the total sum received so far touched Rs 161.30 crore, an official release said.
Those who submitted their contribution included Sundaram Finance Chairman S Viji and Managing Director T T Srinivasaraghavan (Rs 3.35 crore), Neyveli Lignite Corporation CMD S K Acharya (Rs 2.50 crore), TVS Logistics Managing Director R Dinesh and Director of Srichakra Tyres, P Vijayaraghavan (Rs 2.50 crore each) and United India Insurance CMD Milind A Kharat, who gave Rs two crore, it said.
Top officials from Amway India Ltd, Dalmia Cement Ltd, Express Newspapers Pvt Ltd, KALS Distilleries Pvt Ltd and Pothys Pvt Ltd also contributed sums ranging between Rs one to two crore.
