As companies begin to reclaim their physical office spaces in a post-pandemic world, many are adopting innovative ways to bring a personal touch to their virtual communication.

Neha Bagaria, founder of Herkey (formerly JobsForHer), believes that investing in team bonding is just as crucial in remote settings as it is in physical offices. This career engagement platform for women with a remote workforce of around 110 employees has "remote team lunches" to foster team bonding among employees working from home.

"We still do team lunches, but they are remote team lunches, which means that we will have Swiggy deliver lunches to wherever our team members are located, and then we all join in on a virtual call," said Bagaria.

According to a survey carried out by Indeed, which gathered input from more than 1,200 job seekers in India, "work arrangements" like hybrid or remote working options ranked as the second most important factor, following compensation, with 70% considering them when assessing job opportunities.
