BHOPAL: Clinton Foundation CEO Dr Ira Magaziner called on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here and assured cooperation to the state in malnutrition and maternal as well as infant morality sectors.

According to an official release today, the discussion between the two dignitaries took place yesterday.

Chouhan said that eradication of malnutrition and reduction in maternal and infant morality rates are among the state government's top priorities and cooperation of non-government organisations is welcome in this sector.

He said that committees have been constituted upto village level for improving health services in MP.

Dr Magaziner said that her organisation is keen to cooperate with the state government and added that the organisation is aware of better implementation of health programmes and wishes to become partner in their quality improvement.
