Chairman Emeritus of TVS Motor Venu Srinivasan bags top honours
Chairman Emeritus of automajor TVS Motor Company Venu Srinivasan was presented with the Outstanding Institution Builder of the Year award by All India Management Association, the company said on Saturday.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia presented the award instituted by AIMA to Srinivasan at an event recently, a company statement said.
"This award is for the thousands of people who have worked with me for the last 40 years. They have built TVS Motor into an institution. I am grateful to receive this on their behalf," Srinivasan said on receiving the award.
"I thank the honourable (Union) Minister to give away the award, along with AIMA Sanjiv Goenka and the jury, who have conferred this award on our institution," he said.
According to the company website, TVS Motor is the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the country. It has footprints globally in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, Latin and Central America.
The company has four state-of the art manufacturing facilities in Hosur, Mysuru and Nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh) and also abroad in Indonesia.
TVS Motor reported consolidated revenue of Rs 243.55 billion in 2021-22 and has 4.95 million two-wheeler units while 1.20 lakh units of three wheelers as annual production capacities, respectively, the company said.
