NEW DELHI: Bullish on the growth of country's economy, a large majority of CEOs do not see a slowdown in investments during this fiscal, according to a CII survey.

"Around 89 per cent of the CEOs expected investments to be on track in their companies during 2007-08," CII said in a statement.

On the sub-prime crisis, the survey revealed that 57 per cent of the CEOs felt that the crisis would impact portfolio inflows, however they were indifferent to the impact of crisis on FDI inflows.

Responding on the high interest rates, around 69 per cent of the respondents expected the interest rates to reduce to 12 per cent from its current 13.25 per cent to encourage investment in the country.

According to CII estimates, India would need investment rates in excess of 36 per cent of GDP to increase the economic growth to 10 per cent.
