CEA Arvind Subramanian's Twitter handle hacked
In the second week of September, Chairman emeritus of Tata Sons Ratan Tata on Saturday had his hacked Twitter account restored.

A hacker posted a raunchy image on the CEA's twitter handle with the caption, "Is it difficult for you to find a right partner who will accept any of your crazy desires?"
Thereafter, the account turned inaccessible for some time. His account, however, was restored within a short while.
After the restoration, Mr Subramanian tweeted, "My twitter account was hacked. My profuse apologies for the nuisance/offensive tweets that were sent out as a result."

Subramanian is followed by more than 45,000 people on twitter.
This is the second instance in recent times where a high-profile twitter account was hacked. In the second week of September, Chairman emeritus of Tata Sons Ratan Tata on Saturday had his hacked Twitter account restored.
An otherwise reclusive twitterati, Mr Tata had tweeted after his account was restored, "Shocked my a/c was hacked yesterday & spurious tweet sent with malicious intent. Tweet deleted, a/c restored. C link."
