CCI clears Mercuria-Tata International JV, approves Indovida-EPL merger

New Delhi: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Tuesday said it has cleared a proposed joint venture between Mercuria Energy Netherlands BV and Tata International Singapore (Pte), and the merger of Indovida India into EPL to create a larger consumer packaging entity.

In February, Tata International had announced signing of the JV agreement with Mercuria Energy Group, one of the world's biggest integrated energy and commodities groups.
