Ahmedabad-based Cadila Pharma encourages their employees to take break from their routine office work and dance on Garba tunes.

Cadila branded the navratri as ‘Khelaiya’ and was based on village theme. The festival would also be celebrated at other company locations viz. Dholka, Hirapur, Ankleshwar and Jammu. Navratri is a nine day dance festival is widely celebrated in Gujarat that ends on Dhashera.
The Corporate Office at Bhat, Ahmedabad was buzzed with the Navratri preparations and came alive to the tunes of dhols and the dandiyas this week. It left no one untouched at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, with everyone partaking the mix of dance.
Company officials, staff, youngsters and their family members danced on the beats of Garba. A week-long garba workshop was also organized by the company as it hired a choreographer to help staff members to perfect their dance moves and also learn the latest garba and dandiya steps. To ensure maximum participation, the training sessions were held during the office hours itself, said a company statement.
Last week all garba enthusiasts rocked to the music of renowned Gujarati folk singers Harsh Barot and Chandresh Barot at Bhat corporate campus.
