BSE gets a new look: What has changed?
A major change is the reorganised navigation menu, which now clearly segments sections like markets, corporates, public issues, members, investment advisers, research analysts, and market data products.Just below, a dedicated live ticker band highlights pre-open market status along with key indices such as Sensex, Bankex, and sectoral indices with real-time price changes and directional indicators.
The homepage places stronger emphasis on data visualisation. The Sensex panel is now accompanied by graphical charts, while the “Index Derivatives” section features tabbed options like market summary and market watch, displaying detailed tables on contracts traded, turnover, and open interest.
Additionally, a refreshed indices section categorises gainers, losers, top turnover, and block deals into easy-to-navigate tabs. Promotional banners, including new product launches and mobile app access, are more prominently integrated.
Overall, the redesign focuses on accessibility, real-time data visibility, and a more structured presentation of market information.
