BHEL wins ICWAI award for 5th successive year

State-owned BHEL has won the ICWAI National Awards for Excellence in cost management for the fifth consecutive year.

NEW DELHI: State-owned BHEL has won the ICWAI National Awards for Excellence in cost management for the fifth consecutive year.

BHEL has been conferred the maximum number of ICWAI National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management among the public and private-sector companies, a company statement said.

The annual awards were instituted in 2003 by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) and are presented to corporate entities for excellence in cost management, quality and delivery, it said.

Power equipment maker BHEL, currently manufactures equipment that can generate 15,000 MW of electricity.
