Bharti Infratel Chairman Akhil Gupta to get 5-year tenure extension

Kolkata: Bharti Infratel's board of directors has proposed to extend the tenure of Akhil Gupta as the company's executive chairman for another five years, effective from April 1. The proposal is subject to shareholders' approval.

"The board of directors, in its meeting on Monday, re-appointed Akhil Gupta as executive chairman until July 2023, subject to shareholders' approval in the ensuing annual general meeting," Bharti Infratel said in a regulatory filing to BSE Tuesday.
