The funds are anticipated to be contributed by a consortium of investors, although specific names were not disclosed by the informants.
Berri AI, which specializes in AI-driven applications, has also gained the backing of startup accelerator Y-Combinator, which has a track record of nurturing successful enterprises such as Airbnb, Zepto, and Razorpay.
Krrish Dholakia, an alumnus of the 2021 cohort at the Georgia Institute of Technology, had been serving as a product manager at technology giant Microsoft prior to co-founding Berri AI. While an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, Ishaan Jaffer transitioned from a role at Coinbase to initiate the Berri AI venture.
One of Berri AI's flagship offerings, ‘BetterShot,’ is a tool that enables swift integration of error monitoring into Long Language Model (LLM) applications.
“BetterShot by Berri AI empowers developers to seamlessly incorporate error monitoring within their LLM Apps in a matter of minutes,” said Dholakia. “Our objective is to streamline the creation of AI applications, granting access to state-of-the-art technology for a broader spectrum of users.”
With the injection of fresh capital, Berri AI is contemplating expanding its research and development efforts, further democratizing the utilization of artificial intelligence and fostering innovation across various industries.
