Baba Ramdev to set up five institutes in Nagaland

The institute include engineering College, Ayurvedic College- Patanjali Yogpeeth, Para Medical & Nursing College, Management College and Institute of Fashion Technology.

Baba Ramdev clarified that the there was no political or religious agenda behind the initiative to set up the institutions.
GUWAHATI: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev will invest in Nagaland in a big way, Patanjali is coming up with as many as five institutes.

The institute include engineering College, Ayurvedic College- Patanjali Yogpeeth, Para Medical & Nursing College, Management College and Institute of Fashion Technology.

Nagaland chief minister, T R Zeliang thanked Ramdev and Acharya Bal Krishna for investing in Nagaland.


He said the decision to start five professional colleges by Patanjali Yogpeeth would go a long way in bringing quality education to Nagaland and help local youth acquire skills that would enable them to find sustainable livelihoods.

He said that five institutions will become centres of excellence.

Zeliang said the initiative of the State government to provide land to Patanjali for investment had the potential of becoming a model public-private-partnership.

He assured that paper works of the project would be finalised soon.
