Ashok Leyland re-appoints Vinod K Dasari as Managing Director for five years

NEW DELHI: Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland has approved the re-appointment of Vinod K Dasari as Managing Director of the company for 5 years from April 1, 2016.

The Board of Directors has approved the re-appointment of Dasari as the company's Managing Director for a term of five years from April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2021, Ashok Leyland said in a regulatory filing.

The re-appointment is subject to the approval of shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM), it added.

Ashok Leyland is the second largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India.
