Ashok Leyland appoints N V Balachandar as new HR Ex Director

NEW DELHI: Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland today said it has appointed N V Balachandar as its new Executive Director for Human Resources.

"Ashok Leyland today announced the appointment of N V Balachandar as the new Executive Director -- Human Resources," the commercial vehicle maker said.

Prior to joining Ashok Leyland, he had worked with various companies, including Taj Group of Hotels and the Aditya Birla Group, it added.

"He (Balachandar) takes over the reins from Shekhar Arora, who was with the company for more than 30 years. Arora will continue his association with the company in the capacity of Executive Director, HR -- Strategy and, at the same time, mentor Balachandar during the transition process," it said.
