Apple CEO Steve Jobs, the man behind the popular iPod, is the world's most powerful businessman, according to Fortune Magazine's list of the 25 most influential executives.

NEW YORK: Apple CEO Steve Jobs, the man behind the popular iPod, is the world's most powerful businessman, according to Fortune Magazine's list of the 25 most influential executives. PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, who reshaped the soft drinks giant, is the most powerful businesswoman, said the magazine, which made its selection partly based on executives' "world-class oomph". The heads of conglomerates including Procter & Gamble, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Toyota, Boeing and BHP Billiton made the list, as did the men behind search engine Google -- Larry Page, Eric Schmidt and Sergei Brin -- who jointly came in at number four.
