Airtel appoints Raj Pudipeddi as CMO for India operations

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel appointed Raj Pudipeddi as director of consumer business and chief marketing officer for its India operations. Pudipeddi will join from February 6 and will be a part of the Airtel Management Board. He will report to Gopal Vittal, MD & CEO (India), Bharti Airtel.

The position of head for Airtel’s consumer business was lying vacant after Srini Gopalan quit the country's top telecom service provider to join Deutsche Telekom as head of its Europe business. In a statement on Wednesday Airtel said Pudipeddi will be responsible for driving market share, strengthening the Airtel brand and driving customer centric innovations within the teams.
