Aditya Birla group makes top-deck changes, appoints Sushil Agarwal as group CFO

MUMBAI: Kumar Mangalam Birla led Aditya Birla Group reshuffled its management team on Tuesday. Sushil Agarwal, a group loyalist who was the chief financial officer (CFO) and whole-time director of Grasim Industries has been elevated to the post of group CFO. Prior to this, Agarwal held the post of Aditya Birla Nuvo’s CFO and has been credited with its business decisions and acquisitions.

The other change in top deck is appointment of Ashish Adukia as the deputy CFO of their telecom business Idea Cellular. Adukia joined the conglomerate from investment bank Morgan Stanley in 2014 as head group corporate finance. His prior experiences include working with Citigroup Global Markets, PWC amongst others.

These reports come a day after the business house announced the completion of its company Aditya Birla Chemicals with Grasim Industries.
