Adani Group has announced plans to invest over ₹6 lakh crore in Maharashtra across multiple sectors

Mumbai: The Adani Group is committed to investing more than ₹6 lakh crore in Maharashtra across energy, aviation, urban regeneration, data centres and coal gasification, its managing director (agro, oil & gas) Pranav Adani said at the launch of 'Invest Maharashtra' on Friday.

The investments come as Maharashtra aims to become a $1 trillion economy by 2030, with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region expected to play a central role. Invest Maharashtra is an integrated single-window platform launched by the state government to streamline industrial development.

In aviation, he highlighted the management and expansion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the development of the greenfield Navi Mumbai International Airport, which is designed to eventually handle more than 90 million passengers annually.
