13 Indian cos in Forbes Asia's 'Fabulous 50' list

China topped the list with 16 companies (13 last year) followed by India with 13 (10 last year). Top salary earners of over Rs 10 cr | Cos offering Rs 1 cr plus salaries

NEW DELHI: Country's second largest private sector lender HDFC Bank has secured a berth in 'Forbes Asia's Fabulous 50' list of companies chosen from 910 publicly traded companies in Asia Pacific with revenues or market capitalisation in excess of USD 3 billion (Rs 14,400 crore).

This is the fourth year in running when the bank has has featured in the list, HDFC Bank said in a statement.

Interestingly, only three of the 'Fab 50' companies are banks, it said.

The other Indian companies which made it to the list include Adani Enterprises, Axis Bank, Infosys Technologies, Wipro, Reliance Industries, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Jindal Steel and Power, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Steel, Bharati Airtel, and Mahindra & Mahindra.
