Bengaluru traffic steals lives, gig economy lacks dignity, says Uber’s mobility head

At the Economic Times World Leaders Forum, Uber’s Global Head of Mobility, Pradeep Parameswaran, said Bengaluru citizens waste nearly 15 days a year stuck in traffic. Stressing the urgent need to rewire India’s urban mobility, he called for formalising the gig economy and ensuringthe dignity of labour for millions of delivery and ride-hailing workers.
