A video from Karnataka has gone viral on social media, featuring individuals dressed as the mythological characters Yamraj and Chitragupt participating in a long jump competition to highlight the state’s pothole problem. This creative yet critical approach aims to underscore the urgent need for road repairs by symbolically showcasing the potential dangers these road conditions pose to the public.

In the 45-second video, the 'ghosts' are seen performing long jumps over pothole-filled streets, with Yamraj and Chitragupt measuring the distances of their jumps. The video has garnered over 800 likes and approximately 42,700 views on X.

One user commented, "At least now they can see the situation."


Highlighting corruption in the state, another user said, "Yama took 40% commission and certified the road as world class."
