It's raining again in Bengaluru: Netizens posts sorry images as city gets flooded again

After receiving heavy rainfall that caused massive flooding last month, Bengaluru is experiencing torrential rainfall once again. In a cruel repetition, The weather department has warned that the city may witness moderate to heavy rain along with thunderstorm for the next few days.

Private weather agency, skymet shared a map of Bengaluru BBMP area in which Mahadevapura and RR Nagar zones are painted in blue, hinting towards heavy rainfall. The agency has predicted that Bengaluru and several other regions in coastal Karnataka are most likely to witness heavy downpour in the coming days.

The heavy rains in Bengaluru last month caused massive flooding across the city, crippling the city's infrastructure. Several areas in the IT city were submerged, including the Mahadevapura zone, Sarjapur area and Bellandur that have the maximum offices of tech behemoths.


Sorry images of waterlogged roads and traffic jams have again surfaced on the social media. Visuals showed flooded streets in several areas of Bengaluru.


"An engineering marvel or an Maintenance marvel! I am happy to witness this marvel of water logging on the Ring Road Flyover near Manyata Tech. Also seen were devote cars and lorries," a twitter user wrote.


"Waterlogged flyovers are unique feature of Bengaluru or what ?! Rain last night & ring road to airport connect is a familiar story," wrote another angry citizen.

Heavy traffic congestion was also reported at the Outer Ring Road area of Bengaluru that houses big names like Microsoft, Dell, Intel, Goldman Sachs.
