In a recent turn of events, a Bengaluru cab driver has launched his ride-hailing app to challenge the might of market leader Ola and Uber. Lokesh, an Uber driver, has launched an app, "Nano Travels," to compete against industry giants.

The news was brought to light by a user with the Twitter handle @BetterBengaluru. The user shared a photo with the QR code of the Nano Travels app displayed prominently on a car, along with a concise advertisement boasting of an impressive 600 drivers already joining the platform. While the iOS version of the app officially debuted on December 20, the Android version has been available to users since July 2023.

Lokesh's entrepreneurial journey quickly garnered attention on social media, with users sharing their experiences and expressing admiration for his enterprising spirit. One user, in particular, shared their recent ride with Lokesh, highlighting his encouragement to reach out for airport rides.

Another incident that gained traction on platform X involved a traffic jam turning into an unexpected viral moment. Seizing an opportunity during an extended traffic delay, a user decided to order pizza. The delivery person, displaying impressive agility, skillfully navigated through the jam on a bike to deliver the pizza directly to the waiting car.

As we reflect on these Bengaluru moments, the city continues to be a hub of diverse and unexpected occurrences, showcasing the lively spirit of its residents.
