Bengaluru weather: IT capital receives rainfall, thunderstorms; Check IMD forecast here

Bengaluru received rains on Saturday with rainfall to continue with thunderstorms today and tomorrow, according to data by IMD.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre has shared that all the zones in Bengaluru – Yelahanka, Davarahalli, West Zone, RR Nagar Zone, South Zone, Bommanahalli Zone, East Zone, Mahadevapura Zone – will see rains.

According to the IMD forecast for Bengaluru, residents will experience rain on Sunday March 23. However, it is expected that there will be no decline in temperature. Currently, the temperature is 34 degrees, which is likely to remain the same on Sunday as well. It predicted that it would be clear on Saturday, while on Sunday, the city will see some rain. The rain intensity is likely to increase by Sunday.


Additionally, IndiGo has issued a weather advisory for the people, asking people to keep a tab on their flight status. "Unfavorable weather conditions have impacted flights in Bengaluru, resulting in air traffic congestion. You may keep a tab on your flight status here http://bit.ly/2EjJGGT. We are here to support you and appreciate your patience," said IndiGo.
