Bengaluru elevated expressway traffic restriction
No vehicles will be allowed on the Bengaluru's Electronics City elevated expressway from 11 pm to 6 am starting Wednesday until further notice. According to traffic police, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will conduct maintenance work on the expressway beginning on the night of March 5.

Bengaluru Traffic Police Restrictions

Authorities have stated that traffic will be restricted on both sides of the elevated flyover from Silk Board towards Electronics City and in the opposite direction. The expressway will be accessible for vehicles from 6 am to 11 pm daily, traffic police confirmed.

Key link between city and tech hub

The 9.98-km elevated corridor connecting Silk Board Junction to Electronics City is a critical route between Bengaluru’s central areas and its major technology and manufacturing hub.


Advice for commuters

Authorities have requested commuters to plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience. Nighttime travelers have been advised to take alternate routes during the restricted hours.
