Bengaluru power outage on October 30: Check full list of areas facing 5-hour loadshedding and BESCOM advisory

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced that several areas across the city will face a scheduled power outage on October 30. The disruption will last from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is being carried out to facilitate urgent maintenance work by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).

According to BESCOM, the shutdown will affect areas under the 66/11 KV Pottery Substation. The five-hour power cut is required to carry out essential maintenance and repair work to ensure a stable and safe electricity network across Bengaluru.

“Power supply will be disrupted for 5 hours in areas under the 66/11 KV Pottery Substation from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This shutdown is necessary to carry out urgent repair and maintenance tasks to ensure a stable and safe power network across the city,” BESCOM stated in its notice.
