Bengaluru horror: 35-year-old woman allegedly gang-raped by four, then fled away with refrigerator, washing machine and LED TV

A 35-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by four men at her friend’s residence in southeast Bengaluru. After the assault, the accused reportedly transferred ₹13,000 from the woman’s mobile phone to their account and fled with household items, including a refrigerator, washing machine, and LED TV, according to TOI.

Based on the woman’s complaint, police arrested four accused — Shashi Kumar, Kenche Gowda, Raghu, and Madesh — all in their late 20s and residents of Hebbagodi. Three of them are employed at a biopharmaceutical company, while the fourth works as a hotel assistant.

The woman said the incident took place late Monday night. "My friend had invited me to her house. Another friend joined us and we were chatting when three men knocked on the door. When my friend opened the door, they barged in and threatened to take us to the police station, saying we were involved in flesh trade," the survivor said in her complaint.


Based on the woman’s complaint, police arrested four accused — Shashi Kumar, Kenche Gowda, Raghu, and Madesh — all in their late 20s and residents of Hebbagodi. Three of them are employed at a biopharmaceutical company, while the fourth works as a hotel assistant. "They demanded more money. Since we had nothing, they took away the fridge, washing machine and TV," the woman told police. The accused called a mini-goods vehicle to transport these items, an investigating officer said.
