Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has announced revised airspace closure timings from February 5 to 14 due to the Aero India Show 2025. The airport has advised passengers to check with their airlines for updated flight schedules.

Bengaluru Airport closure schedule

According to KIA’s press release, flight operations will be restricted at specific times during the airshow. The closure schedule is as follows:

  • February 5, 6, and 8: 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 4.30 pm
  • February 7 and 9: 9 am to 11 am; additional closure on February 7 from 3 pm to 4.30 pm
  • February 10: 9 am to 11.30 am and 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm
  • February 11 and 12: 12 noon to 2.30 pm
  • February 13 and 14: 9.30 am to 12 noon and 2.30 pm to 5 pm


KIA Advisory for passengers

KIA has urged passengers to stay updated on flight schedules and contact their airlines for any changes. The airport authorities expect temporary disruptions during the event.

Aero India 2025


The Aero India Show, scheduled from February 5 to 14, will take place at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka. The biennial event showcases advancements in aviation and defense technology.
