UTI Wealth Builder Fund declares tax-free dividend of 12pc

UTI Mutual Fund today declared a tax-free dividend of 12 per cent for its equity scheme Wealth Builder Fund.

MUMBAI: UTI Mutual Fund today declared a tax-free dividend of 12 per cent for its equity scheme Wealth Builder Fund.

The record date for the dividend is June 27, the fund house said in a statement here today.

All unit holders registered under the dividend options of the scheme as on June 27 would be eligible for the payout.

As on June 21, the NAV per unit of UTI Wealth Builder Fund was Rs 13.62 under the dividend option.

The fund is a close-ended equity scheme with a maturity period of five years with automatic conversion into an open-ended plan upon maturity.

Its objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments, the statement said.
