MUMBAI: UTI Mutual Fund has announced opening of seven new UTI Financial Centres (UFCs) at various cities like Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Udaipur, Jallandhar, Mysore, Kota and Warangal to provide its clients easy access to its services.

"Our distribution expansion plan is in-line with our strategy of making our services easily accessible to investors in smaller towns and enables them to share the benefits of the growth of the Indian Economy," UTI Asset Management Company Chief Marketing Officer Jaideep Bhattacharya said.

The fund is expanding its distribution network to cover non-metro and smaller cities. During the current fiscal, the fund house proposes to expand its distribution network from 72 UFCs to over 130 UFCs covering around 500 districts, a release said here on Tuesday.

The seven new UFCs will be fully operational by September 30, it said.
