UTI MF declares dividend under UTI-CRTS
UTI MF has declared a dividend under its UTI-CRTS scheme involving a gross pay-out of Rs 6.13 per unit on a face value of Rs 100.
This pay-out includes the applicable income distribution tax and the record date for the dividend is November 12, a release said here on Wednesday.
Considering the income distribution tax, the pay-out translates into a dividend of 5 per cent (Rs 5 per unit on a face value of Rs 100) for the CRTS investors.
This is the second dividend declared by the scheme during FY 08. In May this year, the scheme had paid a dividend (after payment of applicable income distribution tax) of four per cent.
UTI-CRTS or UTI Unit Scheme for Charitable and Religious Trusts and Registered Societies is an open-ended income-oriented scheme which caters to the investment needs of charitable, religious and education Trusts as well as registered societies.
The scheme's objective is primarily to provide regular income to its investors by investing not more than 30 per cent of the funds in equity/equity-related instruments and the balance in debt and money-market instruments with low to medium risk profile, the release added.
